Sophia-Antipolis and the French Riviera

Sophia-Antipolis is a major R&D hub in France (more than 1000 companies, and 25000 jobs), at the junction of the cities of Antibes, Valbonne and Biot. Nice and Cannes are a little further, yet easily reached by public transportation.

The closest train station is Antibes, with fast trains to Paris, Lyon, or Marseille several times a day. The international airport Nice Côte d’Azur is only 14 km away, with direct flights to more than 100 destinations worldwide (including New-York, Montreal, Dubai, Paris, London, Moscow…).

The French Riviera is a famous holiday destination in Europe, boasting popular beaches, gorgeous mountain hikes and ski stations, priceless heritage (stone villages and churches, traditional farming and crafts) and a vibrant cultural life (museums, theaters, operas, festivals).
